Lip Pre-care
It is recommended to take L-Lysine supplement 2 weeks before and after your appointment. This is a over the counter supplement, that can be purchased at any pharmacy in the vitamin isle. This is a natural remedy to prevent cold sores. If you have a history of cold sores, please contact your doctor for a prescription for Valtrex. Even with precautions it is still possible to develop a cold sore after your appointment.
Keep lips well hydrated at least 5 days prior to appointment. 1-2 days prior to appointment please use a lip scrub or wash cloth to remove dry skin from your lips. Dry chapped lips cannot be lip blushed, and appointment will need rescheduled. Filler should be avoided 6 weeks before and after appointment. Please see general tattoo pre-care for all pre tattoo precautions.
